Emily Banks
Hi, my name is Emily Banks. I am currently serving my first
term as a McCallsburg City Council Member. I have lived in
McCallsburg for over 23 years and grew up in Zearing. My
husband, Matt, and I have 4 kids.
Ryan is a recent graduate of ISU and is working in the Computer Science field.
Jenna will be graduating from DMACC and is enrolled in Radiology Tech school this fall.
Drew is a junior and Julie is a sixth grader - both at Colo-NESCO.
My purpose for being on the City Council is to help all citizens feel welcome, set policies that are inclusive for all and maintain our small town charm. We are so fortunate to have many new, young families in town. I encourage everyone to attend a meeting to learn more about what is happening. I also welcome phone calls and emails to discuss ideas!
